Playstation Operating System (Amiga?)

I can't confirm anything but from what I've read PS3's OS will most
likely be some form of Linux. plus some offshoot of Open GL 1.5 or 2.0
for graphics API.

Following an earlier post I made on these newsgroups...after a bit of
google/groups digging I have come up with some curious findings on my hunt
to try and find out as much about the PlayStation family Operating Systems.
The PS1, I have not much info on its OS, could it be based on the old
Nintendo roots?? (As the Playstation was originally supposed to be the SNES
next CD console) I know it is Multi tasking/threading, does anyone else know
its capabilities?
There are various rumors that the PS2 OS is AmigaOS based? Can anyone back
this up?? I can only seem to find speculation.
I am interested in the User-OS which is on the machine at start as opposed
the the Developer-OS which we know is Linux.
Does anyone know any more specifications about the file system used on PS2
memory cards and the OS?
Can anyone confin that PS3 OS is going to be Linux? It may be a little early
to speculate on this one. Whatever it will probably need to be
Multiprocessor compatable (i.e for the "Cell")?
